Capacitors

Aluminum Electrolytic Capacitors are offered in Miniature, Photo Flash, Non Polarized, Snap-In, and Large Can Computer Grade types. Each of these styles may also be designed with higher-temperature ranges.

We offer a wide selection of motor run capacitors. We provide dry capacitors and oil-filled capacitors in plastic and aluminum cases. Some designs provide P2 safety protection by utilizing segmented metallized film. Oil-filled capacitors incorporate a UL approved pressure sensitive interrupter. Standard maximum operating temperatures are +85°C and higher temperature ratings to +105°C are available.

Metallized Polypropylene Suppression Capacitors

Type MPX Suppression Capacitors are highly stable, non-inductively wound capacitors utilizing a self-healing Metallized Polypropylene film dielectric. The suppression capacitors are ideal for applications involving Across-the-Line, Spark Suppression, EMI Filter, Switching Power Supplies, Antenna Coupling, Line Bypass, etc.

Non-polarized Motor Start capacitors are designed for intermittent-duty starting single phase AC induction motors. The motor start capacitors are available in voltage ratings from 110 to 330 VAC and are sealed in plastic cases. Type II (standard duty) and Type I (heavy duty) designs are available.

High Voltage AC capacitors designed especially for the requirements of microwave ovens are available, rated at 2,500 VAC.

We provide lighting capacitors designed for both series and parallel compensation of fluorescent lighting ballasts, mercury, metal halide, and sodium pressure lamps. The lighting capacitors are available in either thermoplastic or aluminum cases, with a selection of terminal configurations, and mounting options.
